  • If you upgraded a theme, contact them for support on this. We don’t support commercial themes on www.ads-software.com.

I hope they are able to help you quickly!

Some of your files are missing or your theme is set up incorrectly. It’s looking for files it could not find. Sometimes if you upgrade a theme and you don’t have enough disk space, this can cause problems.

hello to you both! thank you so so so so so much for replying! i have been in tears over this- i cant access the back end of my website in the slightest. eg- i can’t correct what ever it is ive done as i cant seem to log in?
The front and back both display the message above… any suggestions?

Are you using a child-theme that’s set up to be a child of the basic theme but since you upgraded, the basic theme directory is no longer present?

Hi Dave- yes, the theme directory is not present but i can’t seem to access my website to change it…

usually i log on my entering my url address followed by wp-admin but when ever i type that in I get the message above…?

You’re going to have to visit your site either through your hosts panel software, FTP or SSH. You need to rename your active theme directory to something else, even just adding one character. WordPress will then revert to the default theme and you’ll be able to log in.
