css doesnt appear on homepage

    hey,

    i decided to test hover on mouse over on my homepage and it doesnt want to read the code which I put on the website. Can somebody check why is it so?

    CSS is added directly to the page, there shouldnt be any mistakes (i used the same on non-wordpress website in the morning and it worked perfectly).
    I suppose there is something in the settings, but I dont know what really.

    Dear Janet, I had to remove the code, because it was just breaking my website and I cannot have that now.

    I usually add css beween <style text/css></style> or <style type=”text/css”></style>.

    So i decided to do it correctly from the beginning. I am using Twenty Fourteen Theme and I tried to create a child theme, so I can modify style.css. And I am having another problems with this now. Thanks anyway.
