If this plugin doesn’t work with your theme, I would be more than happy to investigate the issue and provide a plugin update if necessary. But in order for me to do this, I MUST have access to your theme files.

If you are using a free theme, great! Please include a URL link in your support request where I can download the theme.

If you are using a paid, premium or custom theme, you’re going to need to do a little more work. I’m not going to purchase a theme just for the sake of making this plugin work with it. You’ll need to get the theme files to me as a ZIP file so I can install your theme, understand why this plugin isn’t working, and develop a solution.

If you are unable to provide me with your theme files, it’s not going to be possible for me to make the plugin work with your theme. Sorry.

So, simply put, I tried to hook into the function that handles the “Leave a reply” text, with no luck.

But I came up with another solution, that requires changing a little bit of code in the comments.php file (in the theme folder). Making the following change will allow you to use this plugin with your theme.

    (see next post for code)

Shoot, the WordPress support forum is not going to like that last answer. It’s probably going to mangle the code. Let me come up with another way to share the change with you.

Replace everything in your comments.php file with this: https://gist.github.com/dwrippe/f1e6b5963f2b73aa6b8c

Thank you very much it works, it’s really good!

Tell me what I need to change in the comment.php because I have other sites and have the same files how with different themes.

I am very happy because it personalizes comments

So are you all set or do you have other themes that need help? I wasn’t sure based on your previous response.

I have other sites against I do not want to indicate the links here to keep confidentiality I registered on your site to contact you but it takes me back to your forum

    Good week

You don’t need to share the link to the site here. If you just tell me what theme you are using, I can try and provide a fix based on that.

    sorry

how can I say thank you you?

The comments.php files look exactly the same across all three themes, so you should be able to paste the code I provided earlier into ANY of those and have it work perfectly.

    It is interesting
