Redirect from 1 url to another

    I am trying to do a redirect through Cpanel and it is not working. I am trying to redirect from a website that is a regular html site to a WordPress site and I am getting a 404 code.

    coolrushband.com/ redirects to → https://www.coolrushband.net

    Am I missing something?

    Apparently it’s only on my computer this is happening with IE even after deleting browsing history and resetting the browser. Firefox shows the redirect.
