Major Error when logging in
-
Since update yesyerday…
– When logging in, an error message appears…
Sucuri: Something went wrong with an API call (send_log action): Connection timed out after 20000 milliseconds
…and unable to login.
– FTP to Sucuri plugin folder and rename (put ‘X’ behind folder), then can login, but message on admin area…
Sucuri: Something went wrong with an API call (get_logs action): Failed to connect to wordpress.sucuri.net port 443: No route to host
Return to FTP and rename Sucuri folder back to original. Confirm plugin activated and working in admin. Still have access to site.
If log out and login again, same issue arises.
All sites I administer have this plugin and all are compromised in this way. Do not wish to disable plugin as some sites have been experiencing brute-force login attacks which Sucuri blocks efficiently.
