anyone using linkwithin? how to customize?

  • So my understanding of code is 100% but I do have a custom homepage. When using linkwithin, it injects the links all over the page yet I cant find the code that does it on my index.php. If I inspect element with chrome i can easily find it and remove it but cant find anything related to “linkwithin” it in the backend php files.

    ideas? thanks

    I know nothing of linkwithin, but based on your description, I’m guessing it is implemented via jQuery. The code must exist somewhere, but javascript and jQuery code can be obfuscated by being minified. This is frequently done to protect intellectual property and quicken downloads. It also prevents any kind of meaningful customization. The code can also be hosted off-site, so that you cannot modify the contents.

    Just in case it’s not minified and is on your server, check you page header for related script references.

    Suggest that you go through your plugins, you may find some controls ?
