how do you get the slider to work?

  • I just installed this theme. I was mainly interested in the slider as it was a feature client requested. I’m totally clueless as to how to make it work. thank you for your assistance.

  • Basically,
    1) Create a Post.
    2) Set is as a Featured Image in the Locations section. If you do not see the Locations section, you must go to Screen Option (upper right) and check ‘Locations’ for it to appear on the bottom right.

    Look at Items 3, 4 and 5. It’s all there.

    I have also problem in setting the slider. I could not find “locations” in screen options. any help please

    I am not able to set up the slider; the location option is not available at all

    The slider doesn`t work on Wp.org.
    1. Dashboard -> Pages -> Add New
    2. Name your new page (let`s say Slider), then go to the Page Attributes (the same page), there is a Template menu and theoretically select Showcase Page, but there is no Showcase page in Worpress.org, but in Wp.com.
    Any other ideas?
