• Okay I’m going bezerk here, the problem is I moved my site from another domain(deleted that one) and made it my primary the URL is waylonwelch.com
I have been on the phone and chat with go-daddy way too many hours, and they cant provide support for 3rd party software, they have hinted at these things which Ive tried and I’m at my wits end! Ive tried changing the permalinks, I tried to re-write ht.access(to no avail) and Ive changed the mobile redirect in dns zone to point to waylonwelch.com all i am getting on mobile is blank page with (pageok) when before i at least got a home link, I have tried to use mobile redirect plugins but i cant seem to get them to work or find my mobile.php file, I’m lost, its my first time on here and if anyone could help I would surely appreciate it.

  • Does your site load correctly if you use the default Twenty Fourteen theme? Does your site load correctly if you disable all of your plugins?

Thats a big negative, it still displays page ok in small letters in the upper left corner, I know that it may take a while to reload the dns zone settings when changed but I dont think its that, Its got to be a script in my ht.access file or am i missing the entire mobile.php file, I have a mobile redirect page but no mobile.php. godaddy has been no help in this endeaver. I dont know enough about coding ht.access to code redirects could that be it?

How long has it been since the DNS settings were changed? DNS can take up to 72 hours to propagate. Also, I found this page which might be helpful to you: https://bx.com.au/blog/2013/02/godaddy-hosting-pageok-message/

I deleted the path to waylonwelch.com in the mobile dns, im trying to undo whatever has been done, the mobile version was pointing to my deleted primary domain a week ago and then it just loaded the regular site with out loading mobile which im fine with but wth, its got to be ht.access do you know of any good sites that will give me direction on what to program to direct to mobile, any ideas?? here i am once again with godaddy, see if they have something!

It might involve a bit of extra work, but you could try a mobile switching plugin. If you aren’t attached to your current theme, you could try using the tag filter to search for a responsive theme, which are designed to display well both on mobile and a desktop. If those don’t appeal to you, I think GoDaddy would be able to help you better than we can here.

Hey so finally got it resolved, the issue was that i didnt have a mobile folder, Ive never heard of that before, I always thought wordpress just automatically formated your site for mobile unless you have a plug in, anyway thanks for the help man.
