Custom Header Image Too Tiny

Hello,
I am trying to upload a custom header image using the header interface. I am using the recommended dimensions, but it is appearing as very tiny in the header. I have tried logo changes to the css as recommended in other posts about the same issue, but still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas? I would give a link to the site, but I have taken the image down for the time being until I can find a solution.
