Yes, the site is online. I downloaded all the files from the ftp to search through them.

All I’m seeing is a list of files. I don’t think that’s what they meant.

I think what someone suggested (have no idea as you haven’t linked to the thread) was looking through the contents of each file to check for a hacked site. You can use a tool like https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ to check for hacked files on your online site.

Also, if it only happens when going from a specific location you might be dealing with conditional malware.
