Change .hentry for 2013 Statc page only

I placed a slider on a twenty thirteen child theme‘s static page. I removed the page title and no other content appears or will appear on that page. What I haven’t been able to do is eliminate the white space between the menu bar and the slider. I figure that .hentry could be involved but I don’t know how to limit such a change to a particular page only.

As usual, any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks!
