    I sucessfully imported by exporting without the media files (to make it faster) and plugins (the suspected cause of the problem). I am importing the media files now so we will see how that goes. I suspect the issue is with the plugins export/import.

    Sorry for the late response.

    What is your hosting provider? We have experience such problem in some hosting providers which restrict max_execution_time on the PHP instance.
    If that’s valid case please ask them to increase that number as a temporary solution and we are working on resolving the issue permanently.

    I had the same problem. I asked the hosting provider to increase max_execution_time on the PHP instance, as you advised. They increased it from 30 to 90. (What does this number mean?) But I still couldn’t import my site.

    I had a feeling the problem was related to the size of the zip file (35MB). I re-exported my site without media files and plugins, to get a zip file of 11MB. That imported just fine. Then I uploaded my media files via FTP and did a fresh install of my plugins. Everything seems to be working now.

    One of the things that was making the zip file so large is that another plugin (Updraft Plus backup/restore) had stored a compressed backup of my site in the plugin folder. It would be useful to be able to select/deselect folders for export, instead of just the main categories (plugins, media, themes, etc.) Just a suggestion.

    Hi….I have a clients website that I’m trying to upload the demo content to…and got the Exact same error message. It’s uploaded the content 100% to the New WordPress Installed Website Theme “U-Design”…but gave the same Error! Please help me fix this ASAP…My Client is very bothered my this, and we’re fastly approaching the deadline of completion…7 hours left…It’s 3:51 pm here in Detroit, MI. IF you can help please advise me on WHAT To Do, and Where To Find it! Thanks in advance…Blessings-Don

    Is it possible to upload the zip file to the host server with something like Filezilla? I just got this same error with a zip file that is 87megs large.

    I did also rename the zip file so I could easily identify it. Is the naming convention critical or can it be changed?

    After a couple tries the file did upload and complete. When accessing the site it say “Maintenance Mode”. Then found out, none of the plugins installed..
    Any suggestions?

    This may be a very simple question but All-In-One-Migration would seem to be a great Simple Backup solution.

    Hello everyone,

    We have fixed this issue in our newest development version.
    You can download the latest version from here: https://bit.ly/1rktWlW

    You will need to both export and import with this new version. We changed the format of the archive and introduced time chunk export/imports.

    IS anyone getting this error, I uploaded and tried to activate the plug and now the whole sites down saying this I added the foldered and gave it premmssions and still nothing. Please help

    We were unable to create /opt/bitnami/apps/pps/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage folder. You will need to create this folder and grant it read/write/execute permissions (0777) for the All in One WP Migration plugin to function properly.
