ShareThis buttons not appearing at the bottom of a page

Can you please provide us your site details so that we can take a look.

I’m having the exact same problem. Buttons show on posts, not on pages and not on post excerpts. I have the buttons set to show at the bottom of posts, pages, and to show on post excerpts.

The site is running WP 4.0 but honestly, I’m not sure when then problem started. See https://netbusinessservices.com. The same problem is happening on a development site.

My first instinct was to deactivate Yoast SEO but that didn’t help. So I tried deactivating all plugins and that didn’t help, either. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the ShareThis plugin and went back through the setup. Nothing fixes the problem.

I also noticed that CopyNShare shows it is activated even though I deselected it during setup.

If you have selected all the options to show the buttons on Post pages, post excerpts, etc. then you must check you site theme. Which can be one of the reasons. You can check it by changing it to default WordPress theme.

The CopyNShare feature is disabled on your site.

Thanks for your response. I swapped to the default WP theme and it still didn’t work. I’ve used ShareThis with the same theme for several years on multiple sites.

I really think this issue started when I upgraded to WP4.0. To test, I just installed ShareThis on a site that hasn’t been upgraded yet that uses the exact same theme (same version) and it worked perfectly.

As we can check your site, the ShareThis buttons are properly showing-up below the post.

Can you please share the details so that it will help us while developing the future plugins.

I had to put the code into the content to get it to show up. The buttons still don’t show if I remove the code, as you can see if you check the site now.

Am having same issue with @sue i can’t get the button to show up on pages but they work perfectly well on post.

@ Phil,

Please check your ShareThis Plugin configuration menu STEP-4, whether you have checked the box under “Manage page exceptions”

Also, check if any other installed plugin is causing the issue or not.

We have checked the same scenario at our end and it seems to be properly working.

There is a good possibility that your Website Theme is causing the issue and not allowing the buttons to show-up.

My theme was showing the tabs at thebottom of the post very fine before i resave the configuration of ShareThis plugin.

Now it’s display only at the top of post.
