• Hello,

My site has been using responsive theme for a while, and I love it. Recently it has changed, and I can’t figure out why, or how to fix it.
Previously there were 3 widgets side by side on the home page. Now they are all in a column. Additionally, the image in the top area used to have text beside it rather than on top.

Can you tell me whats happened?

  • I’d think that the previous version of your theme had some adjustments, which got overwritten when the theme got updated to its last version.

A recommended way to keep any changes is to create a child theme.

However, if the changes are css-only, Responsive offers a way of storing and keeping them also when the theme is updated: Appereance -> CSS Styles.

I did not see an image in the top area; I assume you kept working at it?
At the bottom, each of the three front page widget areas (called Home Widget 1, 2 and 3) show 2 boxes. Is that still not as intended?
I do see those three next to each other. You could check if your browser has not zoomed in, or try ctrl-shift-R to force reload of that page.
