Sidebar Menu with all Parents and current children

  • Hi,
    My client is requesting a sidebar menu that will display all the parent links and only the current child links. ie:

    PARENT
    PARENT
    –child
    –child
    –child
    PARENT
    PARENT

    I’ve found plenty of options to display the current childpages with the parent as the title but nothing quite like what I need.

    If you know of a resource/pluging that will accomplish this (other than creating a bunch of custom menus) I would really appreciate it.
