Installed 2.0.1 upgrade slideshow doesn't work any longer

    Jorge,

    I just downloaded the upgrade for JSJ Gallery Slideshow on my WordPress site. Prior to the upgrade the slideshow was working perfectly. As soon as I downloaded the upgrade it apprears to revert to a standard gallery. No more automatic advance. I am able to move through the photos manually but the automation that was there does not work.

    I deleted and reinstalled the pluggin, it still doesn’t advance automatically. Any ideas why the upgrade created this problem ?

    Currently using PHP 5.4.31

  • I ran into a similar problem. Upgraded WP to 4.0 and the gallery and seem to have broken my autoplay.

    The problem was not the upgrade of WordPress to 4.0 although I did also upgrade to WordPress 4.0 it was the upgrade of the plugin which was around the same time.

    The problem was the plugin upgrade reset the “timeout” settings. I am assuming you are using the JSJ Gallery slideshow.

    Go to Settings > JSJ Gallery Slideshow and go to the “Simple” tab and set the timeout to the amount of time you want between each transition (in milisseconds). 3500 sounds like nice number.

    Hi,

    I changed the default options in the plugin in order to have “timeout” default to 0. It seems some people are having problems with this.

    Do you guys think it’s a good idea to switch it back to what it was before? Seems like the most reasonable thing to do.

    Do you have have the autoplay enabled in your sites (I don’t)?
