    Hi Gabriel,

Test this using the Facebook debug tool – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

If that tool shows the correct image then everything is working fine. You cannot force Facebook to use the OG:Image.

    Hi,
Thank you for you fast response.
I notice that the problem is not only with the image, but also with the description.

I use the test tool and I receive the following error:

The ‘og:type’ property is required, but not present.

But the OG:type is set to “website” (as you can see in the source code). I also test with “blog” type. The problem still persist.
    Here is the debug link

The strange thing is that the first image from the website https://wallwidehd.com/derrick-rose-2014-usa-basketball-wallpaper/ is corectly shared (with image and description) and receive no errors if I test it with the debug tool

I mention that this problem I have on other websites like FunQP

    Thank you again,
    Gabriel M.

    Hi Gabriel,

I tested that URL using the Facebook debug tool and it returned no errors. All of your OG meta looks fine and Facebook debugger is seeing it just fine. I don’t see any problems at all. Make sure when you use the Facebook debug tool you click the Fetch new scrape information.

As I wrote above, only on one post (last post of the website: https://wallwidehd.com/derrick-rose-2014-usa-basketball-wallpaper/ ) everything look just fine. If you test that one, it works.
Try to test another one and you will see what I mean.

    I receive

The ‘og:type’ property is required, but not present.

and if I click ” Fetch new scrape information.” I receive:

Object at URL ‘https://wallwidehd.com/kenneth-faried-2014-usa-basketball-wallpaper/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because a required property ‘og:title’ of type ‘string’ was not provided.
    Warning
    Curl Error : COULDNT_CONNECT

Please help with this, I’m not the only one with the issue.
Even the meta data is specified the share still don’t work. I receive above errors when debugging. I use Google Chrome for testing.

    Thank you,
    Gabriel M.

Same problem here. Here’s a photo:

    View post on imgur.com

    The debug shows:

The ‘og:type’ property is required, but not present.
The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

Object at URL ‘https://www.formulawahad.com/reports-results/41525/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because a required property ‘og:title’ of type ‘string’ was not provided.

    Thanks!

    Hi Gabriel,

The error you are receiving is very explicit –

    Curl Error : COULDNT_CONNECT

This is a server issue, Facebook is unable to connect to your server. If you Google that error you’ll see a number of people who provide advice on how to fix this issue but our advice is contact your hosting company because that is a server issue.

Hi again and thanks for your patience and time. It seems is a Facebook issue: https://developers.facebook.com/bugs/759289667443443/

    Thanks Gabriel,

This problem only happened when I upgraded to the latest version. How can I go backwords to the previous version? because I asked few people and they have the same problem.

    Another website as example: https://www.f1zone.net/news/ferrari-pair-heartened-by-monza-pace/43245/

So yes it’s all with the latest version. It seems there’s a conflict or something.

This is not a problem with All in One SEO Pack. This is a Facebook issue that has nothing to do with our plugin.

    OK I see thanks.

I want to ask something: Is the pro plugin for $40 only? or for each month? and what does it have it? does it have something very interesting for SEO?

    Thanks!

All in One SEO Pack Pro costs $39 for the plugin and either $10 per month, $35 every 6 months or $49 per year for support and updates. It includes features that are not in the free plugin including a Video XML Sitemap module and the ability to manage SEO for individual categories, tags and custom taxonomies.

I am having a similar problem.

    https://blog.gopenske.com/logistics/guest-column-the-evolutionary-transformation-of-supply-chains/

When I look at the code, the OG image tag is correct, but FB sees a different image, the defualt image. Please help. I am not sure what to do.

og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘https://blog.gopenske.com/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/images/default-user-image.png’ will be used instead.

I am getting this error from facebook debugger, but I have the plugin set to pull the image in the content…which is at least 300px.

Facebook wants images that are at least 600px wide by 315px tall. Facebook is showing the correct image for that post. Facebook caches images for 7 days so they probably cached a different image. Use the Fetch New Scrape Information button in the debug tool to request they clear their cache.

    Hello,
I’ve a similar problem after upgrading to latest version of All in one SEO.

Some custom post types not have the OG tag. I’ve checked the HTML source and the tag are not generated. Other kind of posts or pages works fine.
I’ve checked the config and the post type are selected. Moreover it was working fine before the update of the plugin.

Do you have any suggestion on how solve this issue?

    Thanks
    Fabio
