Is it ok for the tracking code snippet that GA (Universal) gives me is different than the tracking code that this plugin applies?

In otherwords, I set up a GA Universal Account and it provides me the snippet of code that I am supposed to add to my site. Instead of doing that I let your plugin do this for me by only specifying the Tracking ID.

I indicated that code was to be put in the footer, if that is of any use to this question.

I should also mention that 4 hours after implementing and enabling this plugin, I am still not seeing any data showing up in GA.

    Hello!

Yes, the code provided by Google was slightly different from the one I used in previous plugin versions but it did not cause any issues. The method was the same as suggested by Google. Anyway, I decided to modify it and make identical to the one that is offered by Google. There is a new plugin update (version 2.4) that fixes this.
