Custom post type: Comics?

    Supposedly Jetpack has support for a custom post type of ‘comics’.

    How do I enable this?

    If I can enable this, why isn’t it a matter of merely checking an “Enable Comics for this site” checkbox beneath the “Enable Portfolio Projects for this site” checkbox?

    Can I move my existing comics over from Comics Easel? (Or Comic Press, or Webcomic)

    What would I have to do to convert an existing theme to work with this new custom post type?

    Howdy!

    The code for the Comics CPT is in Jetpack (see here), we just haven’t set up the checkboxes in the admin side as we wanted to provide support for the Portfolio CPT first.

    We’ll officially launch the Comics CPT in the next release of Jetpack and should have more information on how to migrate from an existing comics platform to this one. I don’t have an exact date as to when this will be released, but it should be within the next month.

    I’m gonna be busy with travel (three comic cons in as many weeks, ack!) this coming month, so the Comics CPT docs will probably show up around the time I actually have the time to play with it…
