How to export and import product reviews

  • A review is a different type of comment. The Export Comments plugin worked for me, despite the warning that it has not been updated recently. After installation, go to:
    Dashboard > Settings > Export comments
    Choose which type of comments you want, then “Export” runs the query and puts the results in the output box. I was able to copy and paste from the output box directly into Excel and get neatly formatted columns.

    thnx for the reply, I looked into the plugin and it did export all the comments, but what I am trying to accomplish is link the product id with the comment meta. Is there a way to do this

    The plugin author refers to the product_id as comment_post_ID, and this field is in column 2 of the output.
