featured posts also show up in post grid

  • I am using the tag “featured” and am showing 3 featured posts in a grid. That works fine. THe problem is that these featured posts are also showing up in the regular post grid below the featured content. (double posts).

    I have already changed the featured tag, saved, and then put it back…no change. I see a setting in “Content Options” called “Show Featured Posts in blog feed?” That is unticked. (What is a blog feed btw?)

    Any ideas how I can get my featured posts to NOT show up again in the post grid on the front page?

  • Has anyone solved this? I was just trying to get featured posts to be larger/integrated in the grid but could only get them as regular grid posts, just at the top of the others, or as part of a slider.

    Putting everything back now means I have a blank featured space and double posts.

    I solved this problem by adding sticky notes. They will go in the first line under the slider. When you have sticky notes, the posts from the slider that are shown for a second time in the grid disappear in the grid. (It is good the sticky notes to be 3 or 6 etc. so that you don`t have empty space).
