I use the customizr theme for my blog https://gastromessiah.com/ and I have just updated it to version 3.1.23 … Since then, I am finding that the default slider that customizr provides, is not displaying on any of my pages no matter where I put It…All it’s showing is a kind of buffering symbol ( please visit the link provided here). What can I do to resolve this issue…Please help anyone!

  • I see the slider at the top, is that what you’re referring to?

Yes…The slider which looks like is still loading…At the same time, other sliders which I have used as a part of my interactive posts aren’t currently working either (SEE HERE : https://gastromessiah.com/2014/08/9-tasty-treats-to-cut-down-belly-fat-2/ ) Don’t know why, but this thing is seemingly quite disturbing…So please let me know whether you are able to view it at all or like i mentioned, i.e., an animated loading symbol…Thanks

I see the slider working just fine. Loading symbol only shows for a second or so on that first link and not at all on the second one you posted…

    Maybe it’s a browser thing… I’m on Chrome.

Thanks for your response Janet…I have tried both chrome and mozilla but it’s the same problem in both browsers…I have confirmed it with a few of my friends in my city. They seem to be experiencing the same thing as I am. It’s really strange that only people in my city are experiencing this glitch, but someone from the US (which means you…I checked it out from my stats :P) seem to view it properly…Used my android phone just now…Nothing different! Kind of spooky isn’t it?

I tried in Firefox and Safari and works for me there too.

    Yeah, it is weird…

i did the update also.. and my slider went away also.

Then i simply pressed ctrl f5 in chrome and it was back again.

I tried this in explorer also.. and it worked out.

    no more loading sign!

So probbally this is because of kept history or cookies?

I’m not sure how to tell everybody to press ctrl f5

or will this be over in a few days?

Ctrl + F5 is refreshing your cache…It has nothing to do with cookies…Thanks a lot for your useful feedback havealookhere! This simple thing never crossed my mind…But funny thing is, janet4now didn’t face this problem…My question to janet is that do you use a MAC or just a Windows PC? Will help answer a lot in this case…Also, please let me have a look at your website havealookhere, such that I can check whether 3rd parties can see your blog properly or not…thanks

I am on a Mac. But since I’ve never visited your site before, I don’t have it in my browser cache anyway.

Well that’s true Janet…Still I had to ask you because one of my friend’s using Mac…He visits my site regularly…still he was the only one not to experience this glitch…The problem has auto rectified itself by now it seems…most of my friends are getting it fine without having to clear their cache…Thanks for your time,,,
