    Hi,

I have a MultiSite install. I only want the primary site. (I will now delete the other site). I ran the plugin from within that primary site. All went well until the final ZIP. I got this error:

    An unexpected error has occurred: success:{“readyState”:4,”responseText”:”0″,”responseJSON”:0,”status”:200,”statusText”:”OK”}

Now I cannot load any other part of my site: Error:

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    Thank you

Okay that database thing resolved – you probably knew it would. Sorry.

    tools4toni,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the backup. I am not sure what was happening but glad it is resolved. I also don’t recognize the error you posted so I am wondering if you posted this issue to the right place. Are you using WP-BackItUp?

Thanks and let me know if you run into any additional issues.

    Think it’s right…

    “WP Backitup
    Activate
Backup your content, settings, themes, plugins and media in just a few simple clicks.

Version 1.8 | By Chris Simmons | View details”

That error is strange to my untrained eye…it says “success” in it. I will try it again. My WPMS install was damaged by another – now deleted – plugin. So I have to start over with a fresh WP install. Maybe it has affected your plugin too.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I will follow up.

    Yay!
I just prepped to try the back-up again. Deactivated all other plugins, activated yours. When I went to BackItUp Admin there is a back-up available. I don’t know when that happened. i am running a back-up again just in case.

Worked quickly and without issue. I do have a plugin that has been damaged after that disaster one did whatever. Or some other errant conflict.

So resolved. I panicked it seems. Thanks a mil for a potentially great plugin – I have yet to use the backups of course. I will been rating it, then update.

No problem, glad to hear your site and WP BackItUp is all working.

Thanks for taking the time to rate the plugin!

    Thanks Toni
