Problems after updating!!! Graphics

I personally don’t see the issues that are shown in your screenshots when I visit your site. If you are no longer having this problem please mark this thread [resolved].

Are you sure?? Do you see a magnifying glass in the seach field? Do you see the “handles” on the right bar when “shrinking” the browser window to simulate mobile viewing? Don’t you see the corrupted graphics on the “back to top” handle in the bottom of the page? And the missing icon on the collapsed “show menu” icon when the website is in mobile view?

I do – no matter what browser I use. Something IS wrong

Did you recently move WordPress from one host to another?

I tried to take a backup of the site before the update. Used the plugin Duplicator.

I thought it was just a backup, but perhaps files were actually deleted/moved. That explaines the missing stylesheet. However, i removed “hueman” entirely via ftp (deleted the folder) and reinstalled but now the graphics are missing?

What should I do?

I’ll explain the issue. Your fonts won’t load because they’re referencing another domain, e.g.:
https://79.170.40.248/bringyourown.dk/wp-content/themes/hueman/fonts/titillium-light-webfont.woff.

The Web doesn’t allow this, you cannot reference resources from another URL like this. It has to be from the same URL, e.g.:
https://www.bringyourown.dk/wp-content/themes/hueman/fonts/titillium-light-webfont.woff.

Or, maybe the URL is just completely wrong. Do you have any idea why it would say “79.170.40.248”?

I really haven’t changed anything, and this is the first time i see this problem. I have updated both wp and Hueman several times without problems. Must be that duplicator plugin and the backup I tried to take, that messed the entire installation up! By the way, I’ve build a child theme – but it is exactly the same if I switch to the original theme.

UPDATE:

Now this is wierd! When I open the webpage (https://bringyourown) on my chromebook everything is fine… Also looks fine on native mobile browser on my htc android – BUT not in mobile chrome???

When I open the webpage on chrome, firefox or IE on different computers (win8) the graphics are missing???

I am having the exact same problem. Updated to WordPress 4, and now fontawesome icons are missing on Chrome. It works fine in Safari though.

Yep, Chrome warns you that the fonts are coming from a different domain but Chrome doesn’t block the request.

???? What? It doesn’t work on chrome for win8 and apparently not for chrome on mac. (see thread)

It doesn’t work on firefox, IE on windows.

As you can see from thread spmallic has the exact same problem with https://www.ninetimestable.com/teaching-kids-the-art-of-programming/… Is this general theme compatibility issue after wp4.0 update?

Andrew, you are right. In my case the Chrome does not like the fact that the CDN was serving the fonts from a different domain.

trm0002 : I recommend you turn off your CDN and see if your problem is fixed.

It doesn’t look like the issue persists on one of the theme’s demo sites: https://wp-themes.com/hueman/
