    Want to place “show” at end of excerpt and “hide” at end of hidden text rather than on separate lines with extra spacing (as in your Q&A example) so that the sentence doesn’t span four to 5 lines but continues immediately as part of the existing sentence.
    This:
    Allows you to embed content within [show]your blog post via WordPress ShortCode API and toggling the visibility of the content via a link.[hide]

    Instead of this:
    Allows you to embed content within [show]

    your blog post via WordPress ShortCode API and toggling the visibility of the cotent via a link.[hide]
