Different Themes Question

With the help of others here, I have been trying to teach myself a little more about Word Press. I downloaded a new theme today, you can visit it at:

I had a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer. Probably beginner questions.

1. At the bottom of the page in the footer, in the center, you will see the ‘links’ section. This theme also puts the description along with the link. How can I get rid of that description? I just want the link name only as it appears in other themes.

2. On the contact page, the bottom box seems to get cut off. It works fine in my other themes. What can I do to fix this?
