Daily digest – disabling

Yeah, good question. I keep getting those too, and from EVERY site ??

I have the plugin installed on multiple sites on different hosts and everyday I get a nice spamflood of “Digest” emails which is annoying since the box is unchecked under the settings for this plugin..

The link to disable is at the bottom of every digest email. It is here presuming you are installed in the root public html directory:

Uncheck ‘Send digest email’

All my of installations are in the root public directory and the “send digest emails” is already unchecked… Your replye was no help. ??

The documentation states that the “send digest email” setting is meant to queue messages and send them out only once a day. The code seems to agree with that.

When “Enable Email Lockout Notifications” is turned off, there should be no messages sent, either immediately or once a day, and again, the code seems to be checking for this correctly.

Still, I keep getting lockout summary messages every day from every site. Maybe someone from the plugin development team can shed some light on this?

I’ve just received the daily digest email with the digest email setting turned off. This should definitely NOT happen.

Looking at the code again, the init() function in core/class-itsec-notify.php doesn’t check the digest or lockout email settings and sends out a summary email every time it is executed, which seems to be whenever the plugin is loaded.

iThemes people, I think this needs to be fixed.

Anyone find a way to turn this off?
