    HI,

I installed EasyModal at https://noubaryessayan.com and it works fine. but I am using it on another WP site I’m designing and after I took it out of my local MAMP environment it stopped working. I had this problem with noubaryessayan.com, too, but was able to resolve it by deleting the modals and creating new ones. However, on the new site, creating new modals did nothing and my email links don’t launch the modals. I’d really hate to have to use mailto: links.

I’m on a deadline and have to launch this site over the weekend so a quick answer would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hey Matty,

Can you check browser console and be sure there are no JS errors, also be sure the modals are loaded in the footer. Deleting and recreating should not be necessary.

If modals are there and no js issues please get me a link for the site you are having issues with currently so i can see what may be happening.

Sounds like it may be an environment issue. I cant think of any that would affect the plugin currently but we have had them before with php 5.3 servers.

Check error logs if necessary. I will be happy to help resolve it this weekend.

The only thing I saw was this:

    TypeError: theme.container.boxshadow is undefined (easy-modal, line 247)

Could this be the issue? I have no knowledge of Javascript, but I’m not seeing this error on my local version of the site.

    The site is here:

    still a work in progress : )

    Hey Matty,

Make sure you have updated to the latest version and then update your them, simply editing and saving the theme should be sufficient. That error means a setting is missing.

In specific check the container tab for box shadow settings.
