Inserting text with links from Word

  • So far I am writing my blog Posts in Word and coppy/paste them into WP. That does work fine until some weeks. Since I am having Problems with the pasting of links. The linktext vanished and so does the opentag.

    Does anyone face this Problem too or have some ideas how to solve it?

  • I would never paste directly from Word to the visual editor. You are dragging in all kinds of proprietary Microsoft code that browsers won’t understand. Paste into notepad first to clean the formatting and add links using the tinymce editor tools provided.
