Menu Options > Appearance > Customize

  • In the Appearance menu, limiting access to “Customize” no longer seems to work for me.

    I had left a particular user access just to custom-header in the Appearance menu but now they also have access to customize. Is there an easy fix for this? For now I’ll take away their access to the entire Appearance menu.

  • I confirm that since WordPress 4.x the Appearance > Customize check isn’t working.
    I think that the problem is made by WordPress, that to remember the page to return after editing has added a “return” parameter to the default page link.
