User Created Initially, 500 error checkout

    Hi there,

    I am currently trying to solve an issue with regards to checking out. I follow this path to get a 500 error:

    1. Create a user account
    2. Add something to my cart
    3. Check out
    4. Enter my stripe information
    5. Submit the cart
    6. Get a 500 javascript error, screen stays in loading forever.

    What’s really strange though, is that after I do this and go back into the account and try again, it works fine.

    Thoughts?

    I tried a couple times to replicate it and I couldn’t get the issue. It checked out fine every time. Could you send me a screenshot of your console with this error present so I can see if maybe that will help? Thanks.

    Hi Stephen,

    Thank you for getting back to me. Turns out it was an older version of PHP that I was running which caused the issue. Upgrading to the new PHP version resolved the issue.
