Glossary Terms within the [glossary] short codes

When I surround a glossary term with the [glossary]blah blah[/glossary] shortcode, the glossary term (the “blah blah”) does NOT display in the post’s excerpt on my category and home page.
Want an example? Here’s a post that has the words “Creative Commons” enclosed with a glossay tooltip.
https://www.wordher.com/find-public-domain-images-blog/Now, here is the category archive with an excerpt.. and the “Creative Commons” does not display at all.
