Post Editor and Page Editor Not working Recently

  • Yesterday I tried to write a new post and I could not add media. The button did not do anything. I could only write. It would not even allow me to switch to text mode. The same thing happens for a new page.
    I deactivated all plugins and loaded the 2014 theme. And still no better. I even reinstalled wordpress 4.0 twice.
    I currently reactivated the plugins and Swift Theme I am using so my site looks normal for the time being. I can not make any changing to it though cause of this problem. Any help?
