Footer across container

  • Hi,

    I’m working with WordPress’s Twenty Twelve theme and trying to extend the footer, with a different background color, across the entire container. I’ve seen lots of posts about stretching the footer across the page, but I’m interested in keeping the footer within the container. Here’s a link to an example page:
