ERROR CODE:PE101 with 2checkout

I have Demo on both 2checkout and the plugin. I opened a support ticket with 2checkout and they said:

“The PE101 error is caused by an incorrect or null value passed for the “sid” parameter – please review your cart’s settings or site’s HTML forms to ensure that you have correctly entered your 2CO account number as the “sid” parameter.”

I am using the correct ID and Secret Word… I have no idea what can be going wrong here.

Are you aware of invoice specific payment settings? They may appear different from general on settings page. On edit invoice page go to the bottom of the page and find there payment settings and check if they are correct.

The settings on the bottom of the invoice are both set to:
Default Payment Option: 2checkout
Accept Payments: 2checkout

No, hardcoding is not a solution.

I blurred out the actual client number and secret word, but I have triple checked them and they are correct.

Are you trying to test? I see you use Demo mode. In that case you need to set test account details but not client actual.

If you don’t need to test then set Demo mode to NO.

what are test account details?

You need to sign up here https://sandbox.2checkout.com/sandbox to get test environment and payment details. That’s not connected to the plugin.
