I noticed that there was an update available for CF7 so I ran the update. The update failed as it was unable to remove the existing version of CF7. At this point in time I was not too worried because what I have works well (without the update). However, the CF7 Plug-in immediately disappeared from my Plugins Page! I tried to re-install it but but was informed that the destination folder already exists. So, I FTP’d to my server and tried to rename the contact-form-7 folder but access was denied. Now, every page on my site that uses CF7 no longer shows the Form I developed, it displays “[contact-form-7 id=”107″ title=”Contact form 1″]”.

Can anybody advise me on this?!

    Thanks,
    Ade.

  • Delete the plugin folder at wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/ and install the plugin again.

Thanks Buzztone. I did try that initially bit access was denied! However, 45 minutes later I managed to delete it so it’s all sorted! Thanks.
