• Hello,
First, we′d like to congrats the plugin author, it is very useful for making wordpress even more user-friendly, essential for our purpose where not only IT techs will feed the site.

Here at work we were developing a new website for our instituition, and everything was ok with wordpress 3.9.2 and tinyMCE 4.0.2. Now we upgraded to wordpress 4.0 and tinyMCE 4.1.1 it is not working anymore… When the plugin is activate, only the text tab is accessible while editing pages and posts. The button for changing to the visual mode appears, but it does not answer when clicked.

We already tried deactivating each plugin, and even tried other tinyMCE older versions, but not seems to work. Maybe you guys could give us a hint of out could be happening, please?

    We thank in advance ??

Sounds like a problem with the WP upgrade. If you have FTP access to the site, download WordPress 4.0 zip, extract it on your computer, then upload and replace (with FTP) the wp-includes/js/tinymce directory.

If not, try re-installing WordPress from Dashboard => Updates.

Reberretta – you are not alone – i see hundreds like US with this issue..
Andres – the re-install wordpress didnt help –
Isnt there a way to simply reinstall tinymce – which appears to be the issue?

@mulabula: usually caused by stale cache. Refresh it several times while holding down shift in Firefox or Ctrl in IE.
