Caption is displayed twice

  • Two captions are being displayed in the lightbox,one above the other with the second one in smaller text.
    Both the caption and alt text are displayed in the lightbox.
    If I make the caption and the alt text identical, both are displayed.
    If I make the caption and the alt text different, both are displayed.
    If I leave the alt text blank, the caption is displayed twice!

    Does someone have a solution for this?

  • I’m having this same problem, but only when the alt text and the caption are different. Because our captions can be quite long, we tend to make the alt text much shorter.

    Running WordPress 4.0 and FooBox 1.0.3.

    I’m having a similar problem:

    All of these images have text added to only their caption fields in the wordpress gallery. (the title fields are default filename, but do not display).
    Some of the images have the caption showing only once. Some, the caption shows twice, larger above, smaller below.
    Firebug shows the class on the first instance to be fbx-caption-title and the second is fbx-caption-desc.
    There is no text entered into the description fields of any of these images. Why is it showing once on some and twice on others? How do I fix this?
