    Hi lmartins,

Unfortunately this plugin does not offer cropping at this time. All images should be pre-sized before upload. Sorry about that.

Huum, that would super useful due to the nature of banner images. Thanks for clear things up.

Yeah, it is not something that I had thought about, but this would be an interesting admin setting. I have noted it and will see if I can come up with a good way to integrate this in on a future release.

Is there any way I can force it for now, until a solutions appears built in with the plugin?

    Hi lmartins,

You can either pre-size all your images (probably the best solution, especially for page load speed), or you can force them all the be a certain size with CSS. On the main Settings page for the plugin there is a spot where you can add global custom CSS. You could also add the CSS to the Header Raw Content box on each individual post/page if you wanted to do something unique on each post/page.

When you say “pre-size” do you mean cropping the images manually or have them be automatically cropped somehow?

Sorry for the ambiguity. I mean crop them in photoshop or another editing program before uploading them to the the site. This will allow you to decrease the image size as much as possible which will increase page load speed.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion. That sadly won’t work because it need to be edited by the client who doesn’t have the skills for that. I’ll try to find another plugin to do this but will keep an eye on this one for when the feature lands.

    Thanks.
