"Add link" button no longer working and most plugins have stopped working

  • Topic title pretty much says it all. I logged in one day and the “add link” function (button on the toolbar) stopped working, I can no longer add tags, and several plugins stopped working. Everything was working fine the previous day.

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugins. I’m relatively new to WP and I’m not sure what to try/do. Any help the community can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    I am running WP 4.0 with the Writr theme.
