• Hi,

Last week I broke my site ??

When I log in on my site it went to https://www.site.com/cms (everything is installed here) in the options of wordpress i deleted the CMS part.

Now my site is broken and cant login anymore or acces anything of the site or admin.

I tried to find a file via FTP to fix it. Because I dont know anything about scripting, I dont know what to do.

Does anyone know what while I have to change to make the site work aggain?

    this is the site

Sounds like that “/cms” part is a control panel provided by your hosting providers. Have you contacted them about this?

Go to your control panel of the hosting company,go to your file manager and see where your site is located probably in the root folder. Click on it and if nothing happens then you have just deleted the WordPress script and you can upload it again to your site. Go to scripts in your control panel or cpanel click WordPress find your site in the drop down and click install. You’re back. If this doesn’t work hopefully you are with Fatcow or Ipage who have excellent customer chat support, they will walk you through or even do the whole thing for you.

Well, I know that every file of the site is in the CMS map.

    /domains/vlielandvantoen.nl/public_html/cms

The control panel of my site is DirectAdmin,,

@vonie, I am not sure what you exactly mean.. I am not familiar what you mean.
