Purchase one product in cart + applying 100% off coupon code.

If you enable the Test Payment gateway, does that complete quickly?

I just finished testing on “Test Payment” gateway. About the same waiting time when testing on “PayPal Standard” gateway.

I really like EDD plugin – product display, handling item in cart … they all go smoothly without tiny glitch. But not the final step – checkout process time to complete transaction. ??

Can you go to Downloads > Tools > System Info and paste the contents here?

I noticed there’s new version for EDD and I updated its latest version 2.1.4. Then, I did same steps to test checkout process by “Test Payment” and “PayPal Standard” gateways.

Same result – took about a minute to complete transaction.

Do you have a live server you can test it on as well? Being a local host, it’s pretty hard for me to look into why that’s happening.

It should only take 1-5 seconds tops though.

I just bought cheap hosting and domain this afternoon to test EDD plugin. I really don’t wanna give up EDD. And I did as you suggested – testing it on live server – my new hosting (now, I got hosting finally … Yay!!!).

Now checkout processing time is way faster than on localhost. It’s like .. uh … Whoosh-Whoosh fast. ?? All is well now.
