I created a website at https://revfrankministries.ca/teachings/ using Responsive Theme and for this page I selected Template “Blog Excerpt (summary)”. This allows my client to create new Posts and they are automatically added to this page.

In GeneratePress theme there doesn’t seem to be an option for this feature.

Can you tell me please how I create a page for this new site at https://stuartkenny.ca/stuarts-blog/ that will behave in the same way, so that when he creates a new Post it will automatically be shown on this page.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

This functionality is included with all themes – as it’s just a default blog.

By default, your front page is set to display the latest posts.

You can specify a page to do this by going to “Settings > Reading” and setting a “Posts page”.

To make the blog post show the excerpt instead of the full post, go to “Appearance > Customize > Blog” and set it to display excerpts only.

Let me know if this helps or not ??

As always you have the answers to all my questions. Thank you so very, very much!

I have only ever done one site where the person wanted a blog page, and with it being a part of the template I was using, I had no reason to look any further.

This is so simple. Sorry to have bothered you but it just makes me even more appreciative of your patience with me.

    Thank you again!
