Coursepress Unit content disappears from element

Hope you’re doing well today and thanks for your question ??

I have optimizepress plug in installed along with memberpress. When i save content in an element and save it, often it disappears.

Can you try testing for plugin/theme conflicts? I tried this on my install and I’m able to save content without any issues; which usually points to a plugin/theme conflict on your end.

If you deactivate all other plugins and then try saving content again, check if you can ?? if you can then activate the plugins back one by one until the issue comes back – then we know which one is conflicting ??

If plugin conflict test yields no results, then temporarily swap to the default 2014 theme. This will rule out any conflict with your current theme.

Then I also can’t preview the course page because I get “this course is not available come back later. Please help!!

It sounds like your “Unit Availability”, right under the unit title, is set ahead of the current date. When you preview it, it will show it to you exactly as it would show it to a student, which in this case would be unavailable.

Set the availability to today or yesterday and you shouldn’t have any problem previewing it ?? if you don’t want it to be live then simply keep it in “Draft” mode.

Thank you for getting back to me. So I think the issue with the Unit Availability is: I have mandatory completion set on all the units. If I go to the first unit I can preview that, but if I go to later units without completing the lesson then it gives me the “not available.”

Here’s update idea:

So. I think that an “instructor” should be able to view a lesson or unit no matter the, date, published status, or if it is mandatory to complete prior lessons.
