    I updated the plugin of YOP poll 5.1 for my website https://dreamhomeguide.in

    After updation, on clicking on the dashboard button or any other button the following error is showing

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/dreamh11/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yop-poll/yop_poll.php on line 105

    Also my website is not being shown only the following error is being shown

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/dreamh11/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yop-poll/yop_poll.php on line 105

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /home/dreamh11/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/hits.class.php on line 108

    Please help!

  • Hello dreamh, it looks like the pluging was not installed properly.
    Via FTP access in your Cpanel, do the following:

    go to wp-content–> plugins–> delete folder yop-poll

    I updated my php version and now its working. Thanks lopwalj for your kind support.

    Which version were you using? Also, which is your current (updated version).
    This to file the solution to the issue in case any user have the same.

    Earlier I was using PHP 5.2 and after this incidence I upgraded it to 5.3.
