• Since I enable the plugin I notice multiple accounts registering using the same username and password albeit different user IDs.

I thought WordPress would not allowed the same username to be registered more than once, in fact when I try to register with an existing username I get “ERROR: This username is already registered, please choose another one” as expected, so I have no idea why these users can register multiple times.

I have the following modules enable, AJAX, Custom Passwords, Custom Redirection, reCAPTCHA and Themed Profiles.

    Any idea? Thanks.

  • Hmm strange , I think those users came from already registered user on your database, which you might had onced taught you deleted. But better still, while not delete those account, and then set confirm email to set finish registration, and then let’s see if it continues.

If it does, just set admin confirm to registered users, so you could keep an eye on registered users to avoid duplicate username..

Or better still clear uninstall the plugin, and clear your WordPress database junk, by using. [wp database-optimizer plugin] then reinstall after wiping your databbase junks and unused tables, cause by plugins that fails to remove all formed databases and tables while user uninstalls the plugin.

Am sure one of the above would work.
