Will Not Save Settings After Inline Count Hits 50

    I’m using the latest 2.7 version of Lightbox Plus Colorbox and have updated all of my JQUERY but nothing seems to help my problem of once I add over 50 inline lightboxes the settings will no longer save.

    Using console I encountered the following error when hitting save:

    Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression:

    Can anyone resolve? Or suggest another plug-in that will support inline lightboxes?

    Inline Lightbox #53 is actually the magic number that the settings will not save. Anything 53 or above; the settings will be lost once the “save all settings” button is pressed.

    Hi, the issue is actually with PHP versions 5.3 and above. The default max_post_variables is 1000 and prevents any additional options from saving. As a result the next version of the plugin will limit inline lightboxes to a maximum of 50 however they will be re-usable for multiple inline content assuming the lightbox dimensions are the same size.

    Thanks for the response. I would imagine most people would not need over 50 unique lightboxes. Our site is using them for a preview of posted articles with a count of over hundred (and growing). It’s good to know there isn’t anything I can do to get the plug-in to work over 50 however. I even tried it with 1000 and it still would not function correctly over 50. Other then the above mentioned it’s a nice plug-in. Again, thanks for your time.
