Sidenote: I saw you had an answer to another person that involved installing the development version, so I tried that, but still no luck ??
I deactivated the plugin and was able to make my sidebars, so now I activated it again.

    Hi Julian,

I checked this and the cause for the conflict was a constant listener for AJAX calls in the admin, which is only needed on post edit screens.

I think that it should be fixed in the development version (download from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ultimate-fields/developers/). Please check this. I did that, but most probably there is a standard scenario that I hadn’t considered and there might still be some bugs.

    Best Regards,
    Radoslav

P.S. No matter the result, please post a message here so I can mark the topic as resolved at some point ??
