  • Is the content actually translated? Is the checkbox for Show widget for translated content only on or off? Try ticking it off.

    Hi tosco. The contect is translated in 3 languajes a the “Show widget for translated content only.” is not ticked. Thanks

    Oh, I see. This will be fixed in the next update. I plan to roll that out this week.

    As a workaround, you can create a custom menu with languages and include that in the widget area. That works.

    Hi, I have see that have realise a new update. But still not working for me. Thanks.

    I have tested this up and down. Are you sure that the sites are connected, have the status public, and the content is translated?

    The widget is showing (and working fine) if I’m loged in. But it desapear wen I’m not conected.

    Please add the following lines to your wp-config.php:

    // log debug data to wp-content/debug.log
    define( 'WP_DEBUG',                true   );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG',            true   );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY',        false  );
    define( 'SAVEQUERIES',             true   );
    define( 'MULTILINGUALPRESS_DEBUG', true  );

    Then go tour site when you are logged out.

    There should be a file debug.log in your wp-content directory now. Download and open it, find all entries with either errors or MultilingualPress. Copy these messages into an answer here, then remove the debug constants from your wp-config.php.

    I have done. But not debug.log file showing in wp-content

    This is a core feature. It must work.

    Are you by any chance on a “WordPress optimized” web host like WP Engine? Some of them break some core features like multisite on purpose.

    I have a clean WP whith

    – Akismet
    – ChimpExpress
    – Contact Form 7
    – Google Analyticator
    – Multilingual Press Free

    And a Twenty Fourteen child theme whitch I’m creating rigth now. But it dosen’t works whit Twenty Fourteen to.

    It looks like the plugin files are not updated properly, and the debug log cannot be written. There is either some quirks on your web host, or you are looking at the wrong wp-content directory. I have really no idea anymore.
