Track Referrals through Redirect

Hi,

I am trying to install a stat counter on my site and have run into a problem tracking referrals. My root directory is https://lamepunkslogan.com, but the index file there redirects to my wordpress directory, where my blog, and thus my stat counter are located.

The problem here is that my stat counter cannot see where my hits are actually being referred from – every hit that comes from the root directly lists only that location as the referrer.

Is there some solution to this problem that will allow me to see a more accurate report of my referrals?
